The Colorado Children’s Alliance, or CCA, represents all the local children’s advocacy centers (CACs) in Colorado.
Andi has been the Colorado Chapter Coordinator since 2005. She has managed three other associations in her career. Andi serves as the Chapter’s lobbyist, also. With more than 30 years of experience at the Colorado Capitol, she is knowledgeable and respected at the Legislature. Andi has a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado-Boulder and an M.P.A. from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. She is the mother of two adult children and four grandchildren. Andi and her husband live in Colorado Springs.
Emily White, MSW, began working in the field of child abuse prevention and intervention working jointly with Illuminate Colorado and the Colorado Children’s Alliance in 2016. In early 2019 she transitioned to full time at the Colorado Children’s Alliance. As the Project Coordinator, Emily works on developing training curriculum, grants administration, and statewide projects for all Colorado child advocacy centers.
Heather Burger has been working with child abuse response and services since 2010. She learned the inner workings of a child advocacy center hands on as a forensic interviewer and victim advocate prior to transitioning to her current role as the training coordinator for the Colorado Children’s Alliance.
